Great thread! My new things are online banking and a new Thai style quinoa slaw salad recipe to try tomorrow.

Ooh I'd be interested to hear how your salad tastes Lemon10. It sounds good.

That would undoubtedly have better results than my actual baking Mazlin. :-). Online banking has always slightly scared me but today had a nice chat with the bank manager and he convinced me it's a Good Thing. And so far, I like it! I have upgraded my ISA online to get a better interest rate this afternoon from the comfort of my armchair.

We need a winner for today! What a difficult choice. Well done to all the language learners. I am in awe as I seem to be 'tone deaf' to languages of all kinds. I have read back pages of new things - running, swimming and lots of eating!

However, the winner does have to be Jude with the his and hers trisuits and race faces!!

Bit late with mine. I wish I could say that for the first time I went running straight after parkrun (run directing), rather than a couple of hours later, but I fell asleep on the sofa with the cat, as usual.

Today's new thing was a recipe, "amaranth stuffed mushrooms with za'atar and pine nuts" by Yotam Ottolenghi from the Guardian last week (except I didn't have pine nuts so used sesame seeds instead). Very nice it was and pretty straightforward for one of his recipes (except he put the steps in an unhelpful order).
