Beautiful photo LN Well done Linds I just want parkrun to come back. At the beginning of 2020 after on/off running and volunteering with parkrun over the year I decided to use parkrun to get back into regular running. I did it every week with K, it was such a great start to the weekend and we did a bit of local tourism too, which was fun. Then we had a pandemic .. |

Info through today from my Vets (that's codgers, that's over 35s) Club. ...Already planning its first events for April 2021. We are hoping to host a 5km road race and sprints track meeting at Wimbledon Park, similar to the one cancelled in December 2020. The date of 11 April is a possibility. Giuseppe Minetti, our Track & Field Secretary, is also working on a VAC event at the Lee Valley indoor and outdoor athletics tracks on Sunday 18 April. Throughout the year, we aim to offer a full programme of track, field, road and off-road competition. Look out for details and dates. Which sounds hopeful. Obvs events are dependent on how things look nearer the time, but there's no harm in personally planning. |

No they say they can’t give a date for Scotland, Wales or NI yet as the governments haven’t given details yet. Looks like they could go earlier here, but have decided to wait a bit, which makes sense.
