I found her at thr back door this morning, meeping wrakly and unable to lift her back legs. She must have crawled all the way (including down 4 stairs) there but could not reach the catflap. I think her back is broken. Probably hit by a car. Vet has given her painkillers and will do an xray. I fear we will go back in an hour for our final act of love. Here is a photo of her yesterday.
