Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I think it's only fair to wait for the contender to release their link publicly before it's posted here, don't you agree?

24 hours in and it looks like the Tea Boy is about 500m off the Tea Dodgers pace. This could get very interesting tomorrow.

Interesting tweet from JK seems he highlighted to DH that a 30 min stop he had at Gargrave offered a good opportunity to sit off his pace and then jump ahead. An hour ago JK reckoned DH was 14 mins back...

I saw that. Reading the tracker info section, it appears that DH accepts he is slower than JK. But is going to have a go anyway? A proper shit or bust effort. Similar to how SV did her WW record by reducing how much rest she had compared to the previous record.

Here's the latest dot to watch: Dougie Zinis is having a go a Wainwrights Round and hopes to get close to John Kelly's time and maybe bring that record back to the UK. If you haven't heard of Dougie, he's the guy who broke the double BGR record last year and was second in the 2022 Spine. I wouldn't bet against him, he's very (very) strong and his formidable endurance. Link made public with his permission.
