Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

This thread is golden - thank you. I was going to mention maybe reps at certain speed work a certain energy system and longer do something else but glad I didn’t (or have I) 😉

Ankle strength is important too - I hate circuits and gyms so for me orienteering gives my that off trail training.

(Badger has a point - today's 6 miler had a total 137ft of elevation, the "biggest" climb being 50ft - and that was lumpy for here)

Same here. I've only done one 'fell' race (on Dartmoor). Once I'd found my space in the bunch I was OK on the ups but overtaken by *everyone* on the downs.

The schedule is for bang on the record of 17.31 and he's 7 mins down at the end of the first leg over the Glyders.

Do you know who missed out? I saw a post that implied there had been a fast one but no indication it was that fast or who by?

I don’t know what conditions will be like in the tops, but it could be a hard day for him.

Mwis forecast looks OK, maybe warmer than ideal (16 deg on the tops but with a good breeze). Leg 3 over the Moelwyns could be uncomfortable though this afternoon.
