Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Reading some of John's blogs, his son has done some serious miles too! The Welsh 3000s at 6 and all the Munro's by 10!

The Lakeland 2500's page on Gofar is interesting. Paul is going for the Wainwright's 2500's (which Tim Ripper did most recently) whereas John Fleetwood's took in all the Nuttall's 2500's which extended the round a little (especially as it included Pillar Rock :-O). There have been a few other variations, so not just the 3 previous completions Paul mentions. A big day (++) out and a great looking route though.

Damian inside the last 24 hours of the schedule still with a three hour buffer. If he can manage himself well overnight he should be "by how much" rather than "If" by mid-morning tomorrow.

At Threlkeld to support Paul on his 2500s and some rather elite fell runners are in the vicinity. Apparently they've just come off leg 1with Beth Pascall who is on a ladies record attempt.

I wondered when that was coming. She has done a few runs in recent weeks that looked like recces, including going up Broad Stand one day with the dog! (they both were roped up with harnesses)

Damian now 2.43 up on his schedule with only a liitle over 10 hours of scheduled running left. That gives him a buffer of nearly 3.5 hours for a record. I don't see the wheels coming off to that extent.
