Sansa in Winterfell must be something that might come about in the unreleased books. Can't see GRRM saying yes to this unless he has something similarly planned for her.

I wouldn't bet on it, Postie. I suspect that the thought of Sansa in that situation will be motivation for Jon to propose marching south from the wall (and all that brings). We don't know how that whole situation resolves in the books. If Jeyne escapes safely and is rescued by Stannis then there's no reason why Sansa can't do the same. We don't know where Sansa would have ended up in the books so this might just be a different route to get her to Stannis anyway.

I have a sneaky suspision Carp that Sansa will never marry Ramsey. There was a rather odd little cutaway to three unknown women who all gave each other knowing looks right at the end of the scene when Sansa arrives at Winterfell. My forneds wo were watching thought they were perhaps just jealous prostitutes or something but my guess is, they will play the part of the Spearwives in Sansa's escape. Whether or not Mance is involved as the bard is yet to be seen though.

Caprica,one of the 3 women was Ramsey's "bedwarmer" and I read that shot as them being jealous of Sansa's position.
You are right, Postie, and Sansa was a bitch to Jon when they were at Winterfell. She's still a Stark, though, and Jon will feel some responsibility.

Thinking about it did TV Show Sansa treat Jon badly or was that just skipped over. It was certainly there in the books but I don't remember whether that was lost in the edit on TV.

Skipped over in the series I think. But Jon is honourable enough to mount a rescue anyway.

Those three were the ones who teased/tortured Theon (at Ramsay's behest) near the beginning of his imprisonment. I can't see them helping Sansa to escape but I might be wrong. Anyway, weren't the spearwives working with a disguised Mance? They'd need to be wildlings.

Yeah on refelction you guys are right. That girl was also the one that helped Ramsey hunt that girl in the woods before shooting her with an arrow. I wonder if there is any significance in that scene though, will they/she play a part in the story to come?
