Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I also rang D2 for a chat as I was walking - lovely to hear her voice.

To be honest if I was up to doing longer miles there is still a lot round about me I could be doing. After my work would be good too but it would mean running on empty as I don’t finish till 1.30 but then I’m ready for lunch. I’m just need to take myself for a longer run and walk if I have to.

I’m feeling my hamstring a bit again tonight so away to have a soak in the bath and then do some rollering - all after clap o’clock

Evening 😊. Very stressful 13hr shift over and wine in hand. Will run tomorrow but have to brave Waitrose first. So tired, but have 6 days off now. Nearly a week of no visors, masks and spacesuits, yayy!

In other news, this arrived today..

I know it's a bit of a con, but the virtual runner challenges at least give a target to aim for and raise money for charity 😊

Evening all, had a lovely time with daughter. The weather was sensational, perfect for a picnic. We had a good wander, saw lots of ducks. Am wiped out today, amazing how much emotional stuff can take it out of you. A couple of friends stopped by to collect medals today, I popped them on the bin so they could collect them and then we had a good chat at a safe distance before they went off to do my local canal run and they loved it. :-)

I also got a virtual running medal through the post today, very similar to Turtle's....will add a pic. We did a 7.5km run on VE Day which was horrific so we earned our medals.

Nice medals. :)

I keep telling myself I'm going to run every other day but find some excuse not to do it on the second day. I was going to run today but walked instead so I will run tomorrow. I'll have to get my car going first as I had a flat battery today. :-p
