Maybe ditch the race Linds? If you'd trained then it would be worth the logistics wrestling, but it just seems like extra stress you don't need. But if it's important to you I'm sure you'll work something out. Another race?

Fleece,if you were not grumpy on a Monday morning, I'd be asking what they'd been putting in the water.

The lovely Linds on the other hand... (hugs).

Ok here; chilly Spring morning but likely roasting by lunchtime.

Morning all.

Not grumpy here, Knitwit and I are off to that London for the Ideal Home Show. Free tickets courtesy of MoneySavingExpert. Then I need to get out, courtesy of lighter evenings, and pick up the Fetchpoint bugs I missed yesterday :)

Morning! Hugs for those with the grumps, mother troubles, niggly bits and complicated arrangements to sort.

Grey skies here but I shall run to and from my strengthening class then throw myself into more battles with the brambles. I slept badly last night because of aching arms, which is strange because I had a lovely lazy day arms-wise yesterday. I think it's best if I keep them active.

Where do you do your OW swimming Sweetie? I think I shall be back in the lake tomorrow :-)

Hugs to RH and Seren and anyone else who needs them.

Balm for aching muscles.

The problem with ditching Southampton is I'm doing it with a parkrun buddy (although we won't run together) and we've planned lunch afterwards with our families. I guess she won't mind if it's just her family and not mine. Also I'm worried that it might be the only thing keeping me doing *any* running at the moment. Bah again!

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
