Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

70'! Serious old skool drinking.

I was offered the option of a can of McEwan's Export today. Old Speckled Hen was the least worst choice.

Bottles/cans list
4) Wold Top - Wold Gold 4.8%
5) Gower Brewery - Gower Gold 4.5%

both bottles, the local Morissons seems to have some sort of special beer event on with beers they don't usually sell locally. I thought it was a special selection of Yorkshire beers/breweries until I picked up the Gower one from Swansea.

I’ve never really understood why, given its name, it was only ever available at home…

A few nice draught pints to add from last weekend. Also stumbled on a treasure trove of reduced price cans in Morrison's earlier this week. Northern Monk Caramel Chocolate Biscuit Porter at 25p. Guinness Cold Brew Coffee Beer, 8 cans for £2.50.

I think it's called weighted walking. It's training.

About This Thread

and here we are in 2025....

I still really like a pint.

I think this is not too controversial health wise, besides it's quality I prefer not volume.

Lots of beers about these days. I interpret it as different beers within 2025, and you can, if you like; avoid beers you have had before, but as ever the list is yours to do what you like.

Also interesting to see how variable local areas are!
