Popped in to our local monastery at lunchtime to stock up on their trappist ale. Made a mistake of arriving at 12:15 during the lunchtime prayers, so had to wait a few minutes for the shop to reopen ![]() |

They added the blond ale a while back, the guest house beer is recent - haven't tried it yet (the monk running the shop was pushing it as a new product). The blond is good, but the original is my go to.

The blond is good, but the original is my go to. I'll see if I can find both up here to try. My top 3 easy to buy locally a few years back would be Tynt Meadow, Old Tom, & St Bernadus. |

I'm at a real ale festival which has gone tech: scan the QR code for a live beer board! Tick your beers, sort by strength, find by colour. Such an age to live in ![]() realalefinder.com |
