Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I would think you were more unstable so you'd have to work harder. Maybe using a pair of dumb bells would give the same effect if you already have them.

Found this on Internet
Push-up bars primarily benefit users by significantly increasing the range of motion during push-ups, which can lead to greater muscle activation and improved upper body strength, while also minimizing wrist strain due to the altered hand position they provide; making them particularly useful for people with wrist pain or limited flexibility.

I’ve got some and really make you work harder but that’s why I only use them occasionally 🤣

It's the wrist issue that interests me. My work is computer-based and I use a mouse a lot, and while I don't have carpal tunnel wotsit (I think) I do sometimes feel a little discomfort.

I'll probably treat myself. If I don't like them the outlay isn't too ruinous.

If you can, try and do press ups on your knuckles, no pressure on wrists but takes some getting used to

I’ve got a doorframe chin-up bar which I use on the floor for press-ups (I grip the curved sections). I find it more comfortable than hands on the floor, and I’ve always assumed there was some benefit from the increased range of motion.
