Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Me too sioUx. I lasted 48 hours, logging only 3 runs, so you gave it a better go than I did. Definitely not for me.

But I still like conquercise (having always logged a geographically ambivalent 'home' patch).

Better with the application of Kahlua and Marillion.

Temporary fix, I know. Still not running Sunday but should be back running next week.

well Ive 99% flounced out of the Half too, cos I was only gonna go if you were there to help me butcher some more 80s 'classics'. Glad you're on the mend. Now I must get off cos I'm running Parkrun dressed as a gorilla tomorrow ;-) Life is never dull!

A gorilla? Will there be pictures?

Managing to keep it at just under an hour a day required. I've spent longer swimming than running this month. Which does not seem right. But I seem to be finding an hour swim easier than an hour run just now.

Mmm, it's a bit daft, and as it doesn't actually show where you've been and stuff, it's a bit random just hoping to get some points after each run. Agree sioUx.

Yesterday's run with scottynbn's informal running group was perfect night time run. Added some miles to make it 12.3 and nice and slow so extra time for here. Then today my sis said instead of just coffee n cake would I like to join her Body Balance class (like Pilates or Yoga, or Tai Chi, or a bit of all 3!) so I did, and swam before and gym. So another 1.5 hours added today too! Yay! :-)G

About This Thread

Maintained by Legless
A thread for those feeling left out by all the "1000 miles in 2011" threads etc Let's track Hours instead of Miles!

WHATEVER YOU CLASS AS 'TRAINING' COUNTS AS TRAINING.

To get your name in lights here on the thread header, please join the group, then keep a note of your target and progress in there. I'll copy it in here periodically!

Hour targets...
Target . . . Aug ... Sept ....... Oct ..........Nov
% . . . 66.6% ... 74.8% ...... 83.3% .....91.8%
200 . . . 133.2 ... 149.6 ....... 166.6 ......183.6
250 . . . 166.5 ... 187.0 ...... 208.25 ......229.5
300 . . . 199.8 ... 224.4 ....... 249.9 ..... 275.4
365 . . . 243.1 ... 273.02 ..... 304.0 ...... 335.1
400 . . . 266.4 ... 299.2 ...... 333.2 ..... 367.2
500 . . . 333.0 ... 374.0 ....... 416.5 ..... 459.0

Remember, you can set your own target. Doesn't have to be 365 hours. Doesn't even have to be annual. Could be, "I will do 20 hours training in March." or "I will average 3 hours a week for the next 3 months." or "I will do 150 hours for the rest of the year." or whatever. You decide it, plan it, state it, then let's all go do it!!
