Still get the weekly mileage in but easy running and less length in the long runs.

I’m enjoying the daily dose of ‘freedom’ whilst it lasts. Running for fun with music or a podcast has always been enough for me, so my motivation hasn’t changed really. I have dropped the long stuff planned pre London though.
Having returned from France a couple of weeks ago, where running more than 1km from home was banned, it’s been a relief to get out to run more or less ‘normally’.
Like Chunky I’ll be aiming to start my marathon plan again on June 1st, although it won’t be a shock to see it cancelled.

Well done CW, quite nuts. I like it.
Having lost January and much of Feb I'm just trying to get a heart next to my name any way possible! After that I'll need a new target but the reality is that I'm actually quite enjoying just running for fun at the moment. I did have a brief experiment (6:48, actually) to see if I could still run a sub 7 min mile the other day but that's about as much effort as I think I can be bothered to commit to in there uncertain times!
I only have London standing in my Autumn race calendar right now. I would have thought that these big races are the least likely to survive. It'll be interesting to see what motivation I've got to start a training program come June / July when uncertainty is sure to remain.
Keep going everyone. We're supposed to enjoy it after all and if you don't then I really wouldn't at the moment.

I think I need some motivation from this thread. I lost over a month due to health issues, but just about getting back to 40+ miles a week. Aiming to get up to a regular 50 miles in the next few weeks to start catching up. Hopefully they won’t stop us running outside.

I’ve been using the target as a motivator BR. For much less important reasons I also lost the opening 6 weeks or so of the year so it’s been a good target to chase and to get back on top of. Hope you can do the same.

That’s the aim WW. I always find it easier to achieve a goal by joining a like-minded group like this one.

Whilst so many other things in our lives have changed, my daily run represents a bit of an anchor to something familiar and reassuring.
In the absence of other ‘outside privileges‘, I haven’t taken a rest day, from running, for two weeks for fear of missing one last chance to run in these glorious conditions. Although, I am doing plenty of short runs and pretty much all of it is at my ‘run forever’ pace.
Build that base folks and we’ll be ready to step up when the chance comes.
