It'll be my third time at Coniston WW but I suspect you will be disappearing into the distance so I'll have to say hello at the start

That's a nice set of targets IanS - some spectaculars.
My targets are pretty much a repeat of the unfulfilled list from last year - build back some consistency and momentum and work my way through the race distances - hopefully to tackle the Round Rotherham in October...

I was hoping to hit target this year but thanks to a stinker of a cold from my granddaughter I am highly unlikely to do 21 miles before end of play on Tuesday

Will be joining again for next year afraid anything above 1/2 marathon is out but hoping to improve 5k,5m,10k, and 10m PB's in the coming year as well as completing 5000 miles on my bike and doing a few more sportives than I did this year.

I would like to join too. I started out really well this year, smashing every pb up to and including Windermere marathon. I lost my mojo after that and training since has been woeful at best. Hoping this will keep my motivation going throughout the year. I have lots planned for next year mainly at marathon distance and beyond:
Hardmoors 30 Bolton Hill Marathon Double Windermere Marathon (might be a sub 3.45 attempt, but sssh, don't tell anyone!) Trail Marathon Wales Coniston Marathon (back for the fourth time - will see some of you there ) The big one - my first attempt at the Lakeland 50 SBU35 Chester Marathon (might be another 3.45 attempt, but again, sssh!) Snowdonia Marathon
I would also like to be more consistent at parkrun, using it as my tempo session. There will be a couple of HMs and Oakley 20 too.
Looking forward to this thread and the challenge too!

Welcome missvivvy, blimey some tough challenges for you in 2014. Losing the mojo can in certain circumstances be worse than a physical injury. But hang onto the thread let us know what your racing and we'll be supporting.
We are also entering Snowdonia marathon. It opens on the 1st January and sells out mega quick so get in there early.

My one & only target for 2014 is to start running again. If I do that it will mean my achilles is fixed. I'll settle for that!!
