Just crept over the line with 2 days to go this year and will certainly carry on in 2014.
I just have one goal: to get gfa for the London Marathon. Need to get 37 minutes faster. It seems a big ask at the moment.

Thanks Doc and good luck with gfa. 8 minutes is surely achievable.
My next attempt is Brighton. I expect to be quicker, but probably not 37 minutes quicker.

Started running March this year and have enjoyed myself so much I joined a club. Didn't really have any goals apart from getting fitter when I started. Now I've done a couple of races with a 10k to round off the year shortly.
Goals for 2014 are: be able to run 10 miles at 10 min/mile under 70% WHR, get my 10k time under 55 and to complete a half marathon (not sure when probably later in 2014).
1500 miles seems (sort of) doable and be a key part of getting up to the HM. Hope joining this group will spur me on

1,500 miles in 2014 has to be easier than in 2013, right? I mean, it can't possibly be as shocking as this.

mzg, welcome to Fetch - I'd think 1500 miles is pretty ambitious for a new-ish runner.

mzg - I'd agree with ChrisHB. Great to have tyou along but 1500 is a big ask for year 2 of running. I;ve been runnign since 2005 and I've took a good few years to build up to 1500 - will be just over the 1600 this year but have tried the last 3 years and this is the iorst year I've managed it as have had a full year without injury.
