Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I managed to get myself out the door this morning having had good intentions every day this week 🙄 I intended around 5 to 6 miles but only went around the block for 3.8 miles and that was enough. I need to get out more regularly again and build up the distance.

Not sure how I missed your post Steve I just have started my list got distracted and finished without refreshing. Sorry that you’re feeling under par meaning you didn’t round up! Most unlike you.

I think I’m suffering from same syndrome as you FF I want to run but my mind and body are not on the same page here’s hoping we both get back to our usual form soon.

Congrats on the 1000m cross @falcarius

Well done @falcarius.
Not far to go now @EdGreig.
It's motivation rather than illness that's stopping me going for a run but at least I'm enjoying them when I do go out which is better than it was a few months ago.

Busy busy well done everyone. I am going to fall short which is a shame as up until I got sick It was all under control. I suppose I didn't really have anything in reserve. I'm not ususally sick or sick for long but this has really been stubborn. Hopefully I can get back to some decent running next year.

Trendy cafe visits Steve, I like living dangerously 🤣. I had lunch with Karen at midday and we left about 1.30. By an amazing coincidence Sarah F and Mike were there at 2pm, so they just missed us.

Well done for this mornings just below 3 miles.

Well done FF for getting out for a run, albeit not as far as you had intended.

Congratulations Falcarius for achieving your 1000 miles mission 👏

I'm sorry to hear of your lack of enthusiasm gg, and hope that you soon get your mojo back.

Well done EdGreig for this mornings Teignmouth parkrun, leaving you 9.1k to the 1000 miles target

I ran in the Bartley Park parkrun this morning, and it was yet another new course, course E. It was still 4 hilly laps, finishing at the top of a hill. I was exactly 2 minutes quicker than my wednesdays time at Lymington Woodside parkrun. I believe that there will be some parkruns on New Years Day, but I haven't checked yet.

Congratulations @falcarius Great work!

Commiserations @Looby Loo I was in the same situation as you but have been lucky to avoid seasonal illnesses when there have been plenty in the household

Another 10k this afternoon. I’m not counting my chickens but a fraction under 14 miles to go, which should be achievable.

LL, our posts crossed! I'm sorry to hear that you will miss your target this year, as you are not feeling very well. I hope that you are soon back to 100% fitness, and next year will be better health wise.

Well done Cheeky's Dad for this afternoons 10k, and here's hoping that you will manage the achievable nearly14 miles to your target.

I'm glad that you have managed to avoid the seasonal illnesses.
