The second one will be very much a social event. It is a night time trail - so it will be a fun amble as I don't want to go breaking a leg!

Hi all. I thought I'd drop in to say Hello. I'm not running much at the moment because of this delightful Plantar Fasciitis. However I manage to do a gentle run of about 3 miles on our local cycleway (which has a gentle gradient) a couple of times a week.
I see that there is the usual mix of some people doing brilliant runs, a few having injuries or niggles, and still one or two who get carried away and end up with the symptoms of over-training - I've been there, done that etc.
Our daughter-in-law (of 2 months) has been running for 4 months now, and she is hoping to do her first parkrun tomorrow, either at Whitstable or Canterbury. (She had originally suggested going for a run with us on the morning of her wedding on June 3rd!)

Waves to Evangel!
I've just made my 4th batch of jam - I've seen so many blackberries while out running that I had to go back and pick them. All the jam means that I really need to get on top of the exercise situation.... Blackberry jam, plum jam, bramble jelly, damson jam.... oh and blackberry gin too.

Waves to everyone , I've just been looking at my yearly total and looking at plans this weekend and next , realising I might actually cross the 1000 line whilst running around Mont Blanc

When the 1000 clicks over Gromit you have to stop, do a little dance, carry on 😂 I will show you the dance today 😉

Great place to complete your 1,000th Gromit. Yeah..go on..have a go at Brig's little dance too! There ARE loads of blackberries along my routes too Mrsb but I've kind of been waiting for the regular heavy showers to cease before starting to harvest them! Brillian to be on a fourth jam making session...methinks you are pretty good at doing a lot of everything--thus all this running! Blackberry gin..whoa..and wait til late October and get the sloes in too! Glad that one of your runs is going to be an amble...that's the way to do it!

Love homemade jam 🙂
Speyside way and 1000 miles done - really great race, lots of mud after a day of rain yesterday.
Good to see you again Peter, hope Els hasn't done too much damage to her finger.
