Glad everyone had a good weekend - looks positive for the most part!
Mine was always intended to be quiet with a planned rest w/e anyhow, but I have been seriously insect bitten and end result is phlebitis in my leg (track lines following the vein :-o), and antibiotics. Since it's all a bit red and sore, I suspect running on it is probably not wise (I forgot to ask the Dr. - but I think I know the answer!).
Definitely a slow start to the month.

Ouch Mmm, hope that clears up clearly. A ceilidh following your marathon Peter! A good way to stop later muscle soreness!! Bet you were knackered following that.

MMM DRs answer: no running until you've got a few days antibiotics in yoy (risk of systemic spread) Conflicting interests: have just got ahead of MMM on league table again!

Not sure ceilidh helped muscle soreness but definitely helped stiffness. Didn't have to think about stairs this morning.

Ouch Mmm, I wouldn't run either, not until cleared up or as Peter says a few days antibiotics in you.
Peter I think you should rest up too after that marathon, it will stop you clipping my heels for a while

Well done FF and Peter. Hope you are up and running again soon Mark.
Stoney half was hard yesterday, headwind on the (many) uphills was horrid and then I felt sick the last few miles. Finished with SB, can't complain too much.

Overall your training looks really well balanced Peter with swimming and all. I know what you mean about a recovery run feeling "hard"..is that when we should change tak and walk instead? Or shorten it? Or rest?! I say this because my recovery running (following harder efforts) is not what it should be and I really ought to know by now!
