Profile
A passionate cyclist who has recently fallen in love with running. Also a teacher, a dad, a lover of all good music (but none of that boom-tick-tick nonsense), a cats-owner and husband to the world's best wife (AKG). I'm quite a cunning linguist too.

Regularly to be seen volunteering at or running Preston Parkrun and very irregularly at Ribble Valley Juniors cycling club.

2013 goals:
sub-25 minute 5k (achieved at Preston Parkrun on 23 Feb)
sub-55 minute 10k (achieved at Southport Mad Dog on 10 Feb with a 52'34" finish)
sub-90 minute 10 mile

Revised 2013 goals:
sub-23m 5k
sub-49 minute 10k
sub-85 minute 10 mile (got to 10 mile point at Freck in 87 minutes)
sub-2 hour HM (done at Freckleton in June)
