Oscar's Everyone Day

In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

LP Not a PB but still well under 43 mins so pleased with my run. Marshals were very enthusiastic. Only slight complaint was the directions from the central hall to the start could've been clearer. Excellent goody bag though!

Pericles Highly enjoyable: wasn't expecting to run (as the race was full) but the organisers announced they had one withdrawal 15 mins before the start, so I was in! Thought I might be slow, but ran a very steady pace spurred on by a former (very competitive) clubmate sitting on my shoulder. Nice, undulating course.

Sarah64 It was a nice crisp day and was my 1st ever race since I started running in July 2008. My other half ran alongside me (he's a runner but didn't enter the race) and fed me jelly babies to keep my sugar levels up.
