Oscar's Everyone Day

In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

About this parkrun

3 laps, mainly on Tarmac but major uphill climb can be very soft underfoot. V. Undulating. Car parking on-site, hot-drinks, food and toilets available at pavillion.

3 lapper, Multiple surfaces, bark, tarmac/concrete and gravel. Pretty Hilly, Mr Hill is keen to meet you and his bark is worse than his bite

First parkrun; 3 laps with a hilly part towards the end of each lap; pleased with my time as I nordic walked the course

Great parkrun. Lovely setting with lots of parking, toilets, and a cafe with bacon butties. Course is three laps, on gravel paths, with the famous Pomphrey hill. Bit of a climb each time so not really a fast course, still well worth a trip.

Gorgeous course. The hill is a tough one but you get a nice downhill after. Really friendly event. Parking is very good and excellent cafe after.
