Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Jonny Wasn't sure what to expect today. I hadn't run further than 10 miles since May. The knee pain I had been getting in training runs held off until the 10th mile but didn't cause that much discomfort. Legs and ribs feel quite stiff the day after. Should be able to push on from here and regain my true fitness.

Waveydavey Forgot how tough the hills were. Planned long training run was more painful than expected. Good race.

linsblake Fantastic race - cannot believe I got under 2 hours with those hills! Walked up the two really steep ones but the mile downhill to the finish more than made up for it!

Super happy, beautiful countryside, really friendly race, well organised - will definately add this to my calendar!

Banny This has to be the best place to run a first Half Marathon race. what a beautiful place. I knew Marlow from the 5 earlier in the year but this half ecdeeeded that by miles! OK excuse the pun but the scenic setting of this fabulous town and the surrounding villages was sensational. Add to this the glorious autumn sunhine and it was near perfect.
The race itself was a pretty constant from me all the way round. The first five miles were carcking with a great 1 in 5 downhill section that ran for about half a mile, I tried to make it a measured descent because as I said to a fellow runner.
