Hi Glenn

Efficient accounting time
This weapon is a time management conversation. It's used to sow larger, deeper seeds in your clients minds. It's used at the rapport stage of the meeting and will reinforce your reputation for efficiency and professionalism.

Objective and subjective
This weapon is also used at the opening stage of your meeting and it's a winner because it clarifies the whole process and reinforces the exceptional value your client is about to gain from their consultation with you.

Fact find delivery
This final weapon is a simple and powerful strategy. It's best used once you've been through 'objective and subjective' thoroughly. It can be an integral part of the 'objective and subjective' approach, however it's been separated it out because it can be used independently too. It should be used at the end of the 'objective and subjective' speech or whenever you judge to be the right moment.

All the weapons outlined above are described in full in chapter eight of The Sales Commando book, to find out more click the link below:

[If anyone actually wants the link I'm happy to pass it on]

Interesting. Does it also include chapters on using camouflage and cover so your client does not know the meeting is going to happen until you open up with your belt-fed Powerpoint presentation, and how your job is properly done when the client can't operate effectively any more?

Something died in me as I read that, Glenn. And it wasn't my enjoyment of being retired.

Son of a Pronator Man
I have a colleague who so far has sent me emails about:
What I will be baking for the charity coffee morning on 26th September

Whether I want any of the books that are on the "give and take" bookshelf in the staff room, before they go to the charity shop ( she's clearing it out)
Whether I want to order my 2015 diary now.
This colleague is about to get an assistant as she is so busy.

It doesn't really belong here, but it depresses me so much it has to be repeated:

System XYZ shaking things up: Cocktail competition

Our XYZ teams are working hard in the final weeks in the run-up to Drop 1. When the time comes, you told us that you’d like to celebrate the start of the roll-out of System XYZ by ‘stirring things up’ with an XYZ-themed cocktail competition.

Once the first System XYZ drop has been successfully completed in (whenever), we will have a wee Friday tipple with the winning cocktails being available to all working on the XYZ Programme, as well as the rest of the ABC teams (we’re one team remember!) to thank you all for your continued hard work. Prizes will go to the best XYZ-themed cocktail – one for the best alcoholic cocktail and one for the best non-alcoholic cocktail. Judges will be looking for the best name and the best ingredients. So if you make a mean cosmopolitan or want to invent a ‘Pear Drop 1’ or an ‘out with the old fashioned’ we’d love to hear your ideas. More information on where and when to send your ideas will be coming over the following weeks so put your most creative thinking caps on, and keep any eye out for how to enter! Please note: It is important to us that you drink responsibly, so we will only be sharing small glasses of the alcoholic cocktails.

This idea was suggested to X (President of the Fun Ambassadors) by a ABC employee –if you have any more ideas for the Fun Ambassadors please do not hesitate to share them with us via xxx@abc.com, with ‘Fun Ambassador suggestion’ in the subject line.

Dear Fun Ambassadors.

My suggestion: why don't you all go 'fun' yourselves?

It really does belong here! It is a masterpiece of its genre.
