Poor Bryony and poor you too D. I'm sure rehomed dogs remain nervous and unsettled about their new homes for far longer than we think... and changes or something that upsets them, can have far more impact that we realise.
As you say, she is still a baby and probably a worried little soul too. I'm sure you're mastering the kind but firm reassurance that she needs though.

If she has Leah-level GSD anxiety levels she will be a very worried little big Bryony for a long time. Leah did just used to go crazy with stress and worried imaginings and I'm sure a lot of her skin problems now are stress and anxiety related. Masses of exercise (8-10 miles a day) and three years of dog training helped her (and us) to cope.

Poor B, she must have been really unsettled.
Charlie is a star. He's so funny! And incredibly well trained - he even does housework. He's been dusting the hearth this evening 😂😂😂😂

Helegant
We don't have Jet trimmed because he's a working dog and I want to keep that look. He moults a lot aso doesn't need help to remove his coat. But at this time of year he starts to look very straggly as his winter underwear gradually detaches. So today I stripped his 'trousers'
