You KNOW she can heel beautifully round the farm .., it can take a while when there's added distractions, but I have no doubt you'll get there. 'Heel' is the official term I suppose but 'with me' and 'headUP' have been known to work with Jess - especially when she was determined to do her bloodhound nose to ground impression!

Before the training started we could do sit, wait, leave etc but the main turning point has been the behaviour modification. Which has meant changing what they can and can't do in the house. We were lucky with Cookie that with a bit of training his good behaviour happened. We expected the same with Phoebe and got it wrong, we just waited a while before asking for help. When I think to what Phoebe was like when we got her......
