Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ernie was exactly the same Dio. I think I resorted to bribery. Sorry I mean distraction and positive association through the medium of treats. Ernie’s not the best example though because at nearly 6 he’s still a PITA.

Must be a small dog thing. Advice so far looks good.

Jess at eight weeks was already raring to go - and I remembered this photo from before we were allowed to take her out in the street.

Marvin was exactly the same and we carried him around the streets to get him used to the noises etc.

I love those pictures of Jess and Flossie. Wanda is also nearly ten now, I can hardly believe it. Although when we were out on a walk the other day and just I was demonstrating to BaronBR how much control I have when she is off the lead - she flushed a pheasant out of the hedge and was then two fields away after it in the blink of an eye as fast as she ever was. But a sign she is getting older - she was a bit out of puff when she came back. And she did actually give up and come back!

Poor old (young) Ruby isn't feeling too well today. She has had some punny roos and spent a lot of time just sleeping in her bed in her crate where she only usually goes at night. I wonder if she has eaten something? Had the pleasant experience of wiping her bum for her just now. She seems happy enough when she up and about, just a bit more wiped out and less playful than usual.
