Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh LD! Flossie is incorrigible around food! :-)

Sofas, cheque books, fruit cakes, frozen chicken.... It's all one big smorgasbord to Flossie!

I do know of a Labrador who's owners lived in the old Janitors house attached to a school back in the '90s. It once helped itself to a catering-sized Black Pudding (polythene and all) that had been delivered to the kitchen doorstep.

Jet is looking just a tad jealous at that news. But he has just taught Unicorn Girl the 'Jets like apple cores.'

I agree with D2 about boundaries. Wanda never troubles me for food when I am eating because I have never given her anything from the table. J on the other hand, if he is working at home and I am not here, has to take his lunch to his study and shut the door while he eats it if he is to do so in peace!

Catering sized black pudding! :-o What happened to the dog??

We went to the vet's this morning, LD, and she thought definitely over a year, but not more than 2 - which fits with what the rescue charity thought as they said he was 2.

I'm currently eating my dinner with my back to him. He's being very good, nose appeared at my elbow a couple of times but now he's wandered off. Kennel Club Bronze class starts next Wednesday. (Or maybe Thursday...remind me to check which I booked!)

The Lab in question had a precautionary trip to the vet, but I don't recall any complications or problems.

That's great you've a class already lined up - looking forward to hearing how you both get on!

The advantage with it being 'just' you. Maz is that there is no soft touch other half undoing all the good work. Mr Daisy, Raffo and The Baron (not sure about Mr Helegant) are ALL very lax about discipline. *stern face*

QP would argue I am the soft touch but he is wrong. I spend as much time training QP to do the right thing as I do teaching Ernie.
