Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

There is a button up there^^^ that you can click to 'watch' a thread. Which means you get notified over there >> if there are new posts on it.

I should point out that I can o longer see a "watch this thread" option but there was one once, I think...unless that was somewhere else... :-0

Ah! yes! I get it now. It's like making it a favourite or whatever, isn't it? I think I have actually done that, in fact, I had just forgotten it was called "Watch".
Possibly I should be posting this on the senior moments thread. Now where was it?

It's right there ^^ under the title, beside the watcher/lurker counter.

HalfPint - there are people who are not single who go in the singles thread? Really? That's too much like going in a door marked "Exit" or out of a door marked "Entrance" for me and brings out my inner fascist :-)

This may have already been said but I thought lurkers were the number of distinct IP addresses reading a thread at any one time (refreshed when the page does i.e. clicking to the next page etc). That includes only logged in members I thought...non registered peeps are probably measured somewhere else.

I often read threads and blogs without posting, just because I know the last poster and am a nosey bugger. We get loads of lurkers on the skinnies thread too, but 130 :O feck thats HUGE

To be fair Jen the thread title merely asks who all the single fetchies are it does not say only single fetchies can post there. We're very welcoming ya know. There are currently 2 smug marrieds talking about sex. We're all terribly jealous but too polite to say so :p

:-) True, but it's never occurred to me to pop in and post a "Not me" message :-)
