For once I don't have to be the driver, which is actually a bit confusing for me but does mean I can have a biertje or two while watching the other teams play after us, so that's nice. I'm paranoid I've forgotten to pack something I'll need and that I'll be rubbish, but it doesn't matter because this is just a friendly and there's at least one more rubbish person than me on the team. Also the last few training sessions have shown that while I'm not and never will be the quickest, I'm definitely one of the fittest. So that's somewhat reassuring. It's almost like all this running and cycling and whatnot is good for me.
