Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

MA - i did the flat route round London like Ankh yesterday, keeping HR in aerobic zone, and dang me i enjoyed it :-) going to take a late morning break and do something similar today.

Resting my voice and not breathing to hard when on the bike means the throat is feeling a little better and Ive hardly coughed today :-) No going full out on the sprints/climbs for a while for me, dammit.

It took me a good few weeks after having a very bad cough and breathing difficulties back in Jan/Feb to be able to do anything that got me breathing hard, even once the cough had more or less gone and I felt well in myself.

I've run this morning. It's very warm already. I'll ride later tonight. Operation get some fitness back seems to be working. My legs are nowhere near as shagged as they were a fortnight ago after 5 consecutive days training :-)

Morning.

Sprinted for the first time this year. Acceleration is still there (which was unexpected) although top speed and speed endurance might be lacking (to be expected).

No races for at least six weeks and likely longer so loads of time for that to return. Main thing is body hopefully responds well and injury continues to improve.
