Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Morning all, another day of feeling shite, fucking pills are sposed to be making me feel better, not worse.

So in place of meaningful training I am going to the driving range to take it out on little white balls.

Maybe not Tro, but there is most definitely Blue String Pudding, a fact I can testify to having been married to and eaten for the past 24yrs, Mrs LL's cooking

I'm reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman at the moment. There's an angel called Islington, and you really don't want to get on the wrong side of the shepherds from Shepherds Bush.

That's not the shape I expect a clanger to be.

The Bedfordshire Clanger is a dish from the English county of Bedfordshire, dating back to at least the 19th century. The clanger is an elongated suet crust dumpling similar to a pasty, with a savoury filling at one end and a sweet filling at the other, comprising a main course and dessert in one package

A similar, but entirely savoury, dish comes from Buckinghamshire. Known as the Buckinghamshire Bacon Badger, it is made from bacon, potatoes and onions which are enclosed in a pastry case
