Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice one runnerbean. I do have a dirty mind but until you mentioned it I noticed it looked like a big willy!

icenutter I'm pretty sure there must be, you could download the video from YouTube using a free online tool as a start but then I'm not sure about software for syncing the speed. YouTube does however let you adjust the playback speed of videos (faster or slower) and you might find adjusting that is good enough...

MazH of course you can, I don't think the actual pace really matters. I've seen lot's of virtual 'run' videos that are clearly filmed from the top of a car or bike... and many filmed at a slow walking pace.

I've published another virtual run, not the best because of the lighting (the GoPro was doing something weird that day) but it's a nice cross country loop.

Here is my latest virtual run (published today), I filmed it back in November so there are still some autumn leaves left on the trees.

:)

I recorded another one yesterday, a slow run through the countryside just before and during sunset. I recorded it using my Osmo Pocket and I'm not so sure if it's worth editing/publishing. A lot of the time the picture isn't in focus, it's not widescreen like GoPro and it doesn't have such a natural running feel to it...

I ran the Tarka Trail yesterday, brilliant, thank you, Blister! I'm mainly treadmill running currently so will definitely be trying more.

I just subscribed to your channel 👍🏻 You don't seem to be wearing much for running in -1 🙂

Thanks Goofee, glad you enjoyed the run :) I'd imagine a lot of people are treadmill running now. I've noticed my virtual runs have been getting more views recently.

Thanks SteveC, I'm getting closer to 100 subscribers now, just need 10 more! I don't tend to feel the cold once I get running, I'm more likely to overheat - but to be fair in my latest video I was actually wearing two layers and gloves (I just lost one of my gloves somewhere along the route while trying to film) and the sun/lack of wind makes it feel a lot warmer.

runnerbean haha, I want to make sure I look good for the camera ;)

Here is my latest video, just published it today, a 10-mile undulating cross country run starting along the Somerset Coal Canal route and into Greyfield Wood:
