Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Congrats PH and keep it up golfpag!

A very slow 18.5 miles for me this morning 3:45 added to total. My very slow commute runs to work are also adding up nicely. And with trying not to let niggles turn into injuries, a lot of foam rollering, stretching and other exerises, is all adding up!

398:43 - 1:17 to go and tomorrow's run is 8-9 miles. Cert! :-)G

I think I'm likely to come close to, but may not make my target for the year. That gave me a bit of a wibble yesterday as I thought I really ought to go and do something to try and stay on target. Which was a bit daft really as that's not what this is about.

And so last night, I did what I ought to do and went home, wrapped presents, sorted out gifts for my friends' kids, ate a home-cooked meal and had an early night. As a result I'm feeling much less stressed, more cheerful and less anxious today.

Congratulations to all those who have reached their targets, or will get there before the year is out.

Oh, I forgot to post - hit my target on Sunday run as planned. 400:30. Still got to log last night's bodypump 1hr, 35 min bike, 5 min run and 15 min stretching. Commute run into work this morning 45 mins. Home tonight, same. Then have signed up for a mini-triathlon that our gym are doing: 5k stationary bike, 3k treadmill run, 360m swim (30 mins ish?). That's all before Pilates class tonight!

Scribs - I had to adjust my target up and down to hit it. It's a carrot for fun, not a stick for beating. If it ain't happening then just chill out and take pride in the hours you have logged.

They've started 2013 targets already. Anyone signed up for any yet?! I'm on the 1500 miles group... again!

Well done Total Timers for 2012 medal and here's too many more hours in 2013! *champagne" :-)G

About This Thread

Maintained by Legless
thread for those feeling left out by all the "???? miles in 2012" threads etc Let's track Hours instead of Miles!

The only rule is .............WHATEVER YOU CLASS AS 'TRAINING' COUNTS AS TRAINING.

To get your name in lights here on the thread header, please join the group, then keep a note of your target and progress in there. I'll copy it in here periodically!

Hour targets...
Target . Oct......Nov.....Dec

200 . . 167.2 . .183.6 . .200

300 . . 250.8 . .275.4 . .300

333 . . 278.4 . .305.7 . .333

344 . . 287.6 . .315.8 . .344

350 . . 292.6 . .321.3 . .350

365 . . 305.1 . .335.1 . .365

400 . . 334.4 . .367.2 . .400

450 . . 376.2 . .413.1 . .450

500 . . 418.0 . .459.0 . .500

600 . . 501.6 . .550.8 . .600

700 . . 585.2 . .642.6 . .700
1050 . . 877.8 . .963.9 . .1050

Remember, you can set your own target. Doesn't have to be 365 hours. Doesn't even have to be annual. Could be, "I will do 20 hours training in March." or "I will average 3 hours a week for the next 3 months." or "I will do 150 hours for the rest of the year." or whatever. You decide it, plan it, state it, then let's all go do it!!
