Morning.

This came in the post a couple of days ago.* She is on trial as DS15 might be more allergic to this one so we will give it a few days. Kata is not exactly as thrilled as I hoped she might be about a wee sister ;) But they are getting used to each other.



IF we keep her, and I'm not getting too attached yet, we will probably call her Peggy.

*rescued from the shelter. Another family gave her up because of allergies.

Morning all.
Run day for me if it's not too icy out. Not feeling much like braving the cold but I just need to HTFU and get on with it. I'll feel better for having done it, won't I?

Morning. 4 miles on the schedule today but I’ll make a call on that bearer lunchtime as the pavements currently look pretty icy.

5 miles done. Conditions better than yesterday mainly due to the wind having dropped a lot. Not much ice around but a few snowflakes floating around.

Still very cold though which is not my favourite weather!

Hi gonks. My day off today so I'll run later.

First, I have an interview at 1230. Just checking - I need to fall asleep and be naked? Is that right?

It's for another temp job, home based, for 6 months. Money slightly better than current one. Bit more interesting.

Hope it's going/gone well Som.

I did the supermarket shop then moved to the youth centre to do the 400m loops. But despite trying to do a proper warm-up - grapevine, high knees, hip openers etc etc - I just didn't feel warm enough to sprint and worried that I'd end up pulling a hamstring or something.

Wondering if I might do half a RtS for the second half of Feb, to try and make up some ground on my mileage. This cold weather has really put a spoke in my plans for long runs.
