Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I take Sian to school most days - we're up anyway walking the dog - and her school is in the same road as my old place of work, so I actually drive past it 5 days a week. I rarely think about it as I drive past, and if I do, it's along the lines of "I wonder how long it will be before the place is demolished for housing?" (this is going to happen as they're moving elsewhere, once their new place has been built).

I've never missed it either. I still get up for my early morning running but now that's at about 6am whereas when I was teaching I used to get up about an hour before that to fit a run in. I also get to have a much more leisurely breakfast after running now.

You'll still be awake at the same time and you'll probably still get up at the same time. But it's great to have the choice.

I move to a new office tomorrow. I am lucky and live about 2.5 miles from both the old and new office. Getting there and back is no big deal.

However for the majority it is a PITA. Or much much worse.
