HellsBells wrote: Why my headphones disconnect from my mp3 player every time a taxi goes past It may be that the taxi radio Comms throws out so much 'noise' that it scrambles the blue tooth. I once had it, back in the very old days, a passing police cars radio play out over my record players speakers I presumed the stylus acted as an antenna |

Why someone would pay £35 to enter a 13.5 k trail run (on very well defined paths)? I know, each to their own and all that but still ...

why the London Eye owners are spending money advertising it on TV. Everytime I go past I have to fight may way through a million people queueing to get on. It's not as if no one knows about it already.

Why, when I am listening to podcasts I have downloaded to my phone on Spotify, it still glitches every so often as though the app is searching for a connection. Is it just the poor quality of the download?

Credit Card: More specifically a case I have just encountered and was caught once before with. (Numbers , dates etc only for illustration purposes) Credit card bill comes in and balance due £1,000 with DD set up for sat 15th month to pay balance in full. For own reasons decide to pay £500 early and will pay the other £500 on due date. However after giving time to process re-check account online and it says £650 will be deducted by DD. This now apparently includes expenditure on card after previous cut off date . "It's to ensure as payment is set to pay balance that it will be zero after said payment. This all seems very wrong/weird to me. (I had used app to cancel DD for the month to protect against such stupidity, but that hadn't gone through either, so after online robot got human to confirm they have suspended DD for month). To me making an early payment in these cases penalises you. |
