Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Things that make you laugh, but probably shouldn't.

There doesn't seem to be a thread for this, I was going to post on the 'Making you smile' thread, but it felt mean...

So, this is for those unfortunate moments which have happened to someone else but made you snigger.

No-one was seriously hurt in the making of these anecdotes.

.......

On Sunday we were on the beach, OH wasn't paying attention and got a welly full of freezing cold sea water. I laughed, a lot.

.......

Recently our very bossy running pal forgot to book her own supper at a social event, despite having reminded everyone else multiple times.
I am still chuckling about this a month later.

Yesterday I caught my line manager waiting for the lift. The lift was out of service, the little screen was saying that but she didn't look at that. Think she had been waiting for a while and kept pressing the button calling it. I told her it was broken and she took the stairs. I had a wee chuckle afterwards.

After the funeral service for my Wife’s Grandmother had finished and the family rose to leave, my Grandfather in law had a belt or braces malfunction and so his trousers fell down.
It added a little light relief to a somber occasion.

My daughter laughs every time someone falls, trips or hits their head. Thankfully, it's usually me although I was worried that she would laugh when visiting my late father-in-law in a care home as he was falling a lot.

The only good thing is that knew what to do to make her smile or laugh for photographs.

My wife loves a simple bit of slapstick on the TV. Not my kind of comedy though. I worry when I see someone fall. No good laugh when you shouldn't stories, sorry! :-) G
