Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Adriene Calm. I liked this.

Also, I’m going to start logging my yoga every day I do it. Might keep me honest :)

I keep meaning to do that Fleecy, but sometimes forget. Probably too zoned out at the end of a session :-)

Yeah I was thinking about that. You could log it at the start actually!

The thing I like about Adriene is her philosophy of find what feels good. She regularly says not to crank yourself into a shape and to focus on how it feels. I see adverts for other yoga apps etc and it’s all lithe individuals doing really advanced postures that probably take years to master. It puts me off.

I usually log my yoga...as an afterthought! I need to do more rather than just doing my practice teaching at the moment. On the other hand, some of my fellow teacher trainees have done themselves in by overdoing things...nothing like getting sciatica from too much yoga!

I've had viral tonsillitis this week and so have lapsed with everything, but got back into yoga today with Adriene's neck and shoulder relief video. It was good, not too taxing, and my poor swollen neck quite liked it.

20 mins done. The routine seems to have fitted nicely with last night's session.

I used to log my yoga, and it was quite useful for spotting patterns, and seeing if niggles were related to doing less yoga.

Then I missed logging a few classes, and planned to catch up, and never did and somehow don't log them any more :(
