I managed two miles just over 8 min pace trying for a brisk 5K last month. About time I did a mile again

Did my February attempt yesterday. Wasn't sure how it was going to go as I'd had a sports massage first thing. It felt bloomin' hard which might be because I got my best time on this mie! 8:07

Did my March mile this afternoon, although I nearly bailed before starting as I had to wait for two horse riders to clear the way. A few seconds quicker than last month. 8:04

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.
