Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Looks ok, although I am not keen on the 24mile run 2 weeks before the Mara in the advanced plan. I quite like the run 20miles max idea and then hang on for dear life.

Or it's 20miles followed by "just" a 10k. 6 miles steady for me tonight

Lums, I found doing 20 miles as a maximum long run was fine. I was going to do 3 of them and missed one due to injury niggles. i thought that the 3rd one might have been 21/22 but then it turned into 15. :-) However, we are aiming higher than I was aiming for at Abbie.

Can't decide whether to go for it next year and do a marathon or just do a few more half marathons....only started racing this summer. But I did enter FLM and know that I didn't get in but I would have run it had I done so.....
Windermere is the one I'm thinking of 20th May - so could be quite hot! but I've had two lovely hols up in the Lakes and just love it!
Anyway if I did go for it would aim for just under 4 hours....( 4 hours of running????)
