Last day in office yesterday was a bit too busy as various people suddenly seem to realise I am really going and so had various issues needing resolving etc. Then had small leaving do in the evening with the individuals that I will keep in touch with. Now 2 quiet days working from home of tidying up loose ends and leaving instructions/handover notes. Although I must admit with the sunshine finally arriving my enthusiasm for these tasks is rapidly dropping off! Notes may end up being a shorter than originally planned! Ame also had her last day yesterday - so looking forward to a celebratory weekend and then we head off for a few weeks in Canada to see our daughter.

Excellent Snail. A former boss of mine wrote a complete drains up history of years of system neglect as his handover upon retirement. It was a hilarious read and I kept it for several years! ![]() |

Things I won't miss. ....... Just when I thought I could slide off early for a bit of pre match build up. My boss who has no interest in football has put an end of day project catch-up at 4:30!
