Hmm, I find that hard to believe based on how many spend their day shitting in my garden and stalking the birds!

When I work from home, I see cats walking past my window all day long, but I think it's just two different ones.

rf_fozzy, at least you didn't suggest the Korean approach to reducing the dog population. ![]() Getting back to the point a bit - is there scope for a "What will I do in 2022 to reduce my environmental impact" pledge forum on Fetch? |

Rosehip, I know quite a few countries now ban cats from going outside, including the Netherlands... I have a cat myself, but hate other people's cats shitting in my garden. Mine has been trained to go on the toilet, very easy to do... And doesn't shit outside... She is also too clever to catch birds: much more energy efficient to catch a rodent ![]() |

At least my animals are all working animals: 4 chickens that lay eggs, free range, produce manure and compost and weed the food forest and keep the veg garden largely slug free. The cat keeps the house and outbuildings free of rodents and tries to reduce the vole population to manageable. It is a win/win ![]() |
