The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I get logged out occasionally (think it's my browser trying to be clever) so I just hit the sign in. Having it on the page that says "sign up" (for muggles) page will be helpful so I can hit that to sign back in more easily. Thanks Fetch! :-) G

No-one else uses my phone so remain logged in occasionally I get that pop up. I have to log back in

It's no bother figure it's a security thing just to be sure it is me

I sometimes drop by the site just to glance at the forums etc without logging in. Recently I've noticed one of those popups that appear in the middle of the screen. These things are a blight on the interwebs and I reckon they don't increase traffic or custom, they just annoy. My usual response when encountering one is simply to close the page.

I think it detracts from this rather excellent site. Or is it just me?
