Lots and lots of criticisms and I dropped stupid marks on references too but hey it's a pass at the end of the day so I'm happy.

Feedback! Not criticisms. Suggestions for improvement. At least that's what they should be.

64% is good! It can be hard it the criticism hasn't been worded well. You can always ask a friend to read it and "translate" to actually constructive stuff if you find it difficult not to take it personally.

Well done on the 64% - there comes a time when getting a pass is the most important, but any extra marks are always good. I was told that anything within a few marks of a grade barrier typically got reviewed by 2 or 3 others to get a fair opinion of the critical marks.
Going back a few years, the lecturer in the Research Methods module of my MBA got us to critique a published paper - supposedly so we would learn & apply the necessary rigour in our own research. He shared the 'choicest' criticisms and went on to suggest we were lucky the Uni staff were a bit more diplomatic & constructive in their marking than we were in that assignment.

Thank you. I guess when you work so hard on something it's difficult. One friend got 81% but again another got 44% so such a wide range. We all worked really hard on it and we're all just so pleased to pass 😊 but yes I'll get hubby to read it later when I'm less emotional I will probably be able to appreciate the feedback but lots of 'other stuff' happening in my life too.

Remember that essay I stayed up all night to do because I got the submission date wrong? I failed miserably. 30%. I've never failed an essay before and I'm unreasonably upset by this one.

Oh Carp. Did the feedback indicate how you can improve it?

Yes. Be less descriptive, back up your thoughts with more referencing. Your work is muddled and doesn't read logically. The marking rubric and the voice feedback aren't really making sense together though. On the marking rubric the sections highlighted are all either 40-49% or 35-39% and yet my mark is 30 which I don't understand.
I'm annoyed because the "how to use Gibbs' reflective model" written advice we were given says in several sections "this is descriptive, state what happened/how you felt" etc. The feedback says I didn't use critical analysis in these sections.
Also, so over writing fucking essays this term. Submitted the last one Sunday after reading it through and realising I had included very little critical analysis but had run out of time. I was about 60% sure I'd fail that one but am now 99% sure. Won't find out for a month though.
Plus, my sisters and other family all got firsts and I'll be lucky to even scrape through with a third.

Sorry for navel-gazing self-pity-party post.
