Probably needs a 2020 thread but I can't believe that I have just read that SCD bosses have Brooklyn Beckham at the top of their wanted list. We've already had two talentless layabouts (i.e. YouTubers) in the last few years and we don't want another one!

A source said: "Brooklyn is the main target for casting chiefs at the moment, because he will appeal to his parents' fans as well as his own. He has a young, cool image and they think that will win over new fans. Plus, they would love to get David and Victoria sitting in the front row."

I don't know who they're trying to kid but that quote will almost certainly have me reaching for the off button for the first time since Series 2 (2004).

That's awful Surrey Phil, I really hope that doesn't happen. How would they describe him? Son of famous people? He hasn't even done half as much as Joe Sugg.

*Not that I have any actual knowledge of him or his opinion of Strictly or any other TV appearances at all. I wouldn't even be able to pick him out of a line-up.
