Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The ham doesn't taste of Cola. Coffee is good, too (I know it sounds weird)

We do meat joints in ours all the time. The Christmas Ham was done in ours and we had a cracking roast beef joint yesterday :-)

Tried chicken in one once but it looks too pale (pasty white) when I took it out and ended up putting it in the over to give it some colour.

I keep meaning to try a bolognese sauce and curry at some point but I've never got round to it

I've only just spotted this thread! I use my slow cooker at least once a week in colder months - this is a very good source for recipes

Use an old clay pot. Oven low, stews, bolognaise, curry etc. Roasts, NO. Oven required for colour.

I don’t use mines enough. Mainly do a sausage casserole or a chicken, potato & spinach curry. Need to try more recipes.

Haven't used mine much but did cook a beef brisket joint in it Xmas Eve. Was quite good actually, and had plenty left over.

The chilli pix? Lobbed in most of the ingredients from this link, and turned it on low!
