Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not a fan of crackling, but apart from that it looks fantastic!

I'm going to have to do some roasting pan/trivet/oven measuring. I'm reminded of how much I like vegetables (not just onions) from under a roast. Our current oven doesn't take my favourite roasting pans. Buying a new roasting pan is the obvious solution, but replacing the cooker has been on my to-do list for years.

Looks good. We had some lamb steaks and sautéed potatoes last night. No photos, I’m afraid.

Crackling looked best bit to me

We had a roast turkey dinner out yesterday but I started eating it before I remembered to take a picture. Apart from a paucity of gravy (I asked for me, obviously), it was good. The fruits of the forest pavlova that followed was wonderful. Not the most stylish plate but great. Double espresso was fabulous too. Best coffee I've had out for years

I do most of my roasts in glass "Pyrex" style dishes. So much easier to clean afterwards

Very good plan! I have several perfectly suitable Pyrex and ceramic dishes.
