Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think I read there will only be c100 there - all socially distanced. In Trump's case the 2m rule is expected to be increased slightly - to Florida.

Mayor of Philly told Trump to put on his big boy pants and accept the result :-)

fozzy - you're saying the two Georgia run-offs will probably go republican, but let's not underestimate the power of the New Georgia Project established by Doctor Who fan(!) Stacy Abrams, registering so many unregistered voters. An inspirational politician (yes there is such a thing). And no reason why they can't still carry on adding to their successes.

I was thinking that, too. If Biden presents himself between now and the time of the run-offs as a conciliatory figure, trying to bring America together again, it may well persuade a few Republicans to vote Democrat (or at least not vote), particularly if it looks like McConnell is going to be playing silly buggers again, as he almost certainly will.

Mrs J2R refuses to drink celebratory champagne until the result is properly announced, so unless the bloody networks lose their timidity and make the call, the champagne stays in the fridge another 24 hours...

Do you reckon Trump is busy writing his “defeat” speech? Something like this maybe...

I’m really sad and frankly surprised that the great American people voted for Sleep Joe Biden because he’s going to try to undo all the great work I’ve done over the last four years.

And you know, nobody has ever made as much progress for our country as me. I’m not going anywhere and I’ll be back in four years time to rebuild our great country again after the socialists have destroyed it.

macca, convincing enough impersonation of his style - but I'm pretty certain he won't be making any kind of concession. He's prepared to take everything and everyone down with him.
