(Admittedly on a slightly different route but still incorporating the already infamous Intake Road hill.) Once again, first finisher, first woman and first in age cat. Had to dodge a lot of dog walkers today, it was like Cruft's out there.

Pleasantly surprised to still be able to get a sub 22 (21:54) which is close to what I was doing at real parkrun. Have to say though - despite being a nice scenic route it feels much tougher doing it on your own!

Might be something to do with a first time on the rollers for ages (although it was a very short ride) plus a shopping walk yesterday. Also, whisky 🥃 after dinner was definitely a bad idea. Won’t be doing that again before a parkrun, fake or otherwise.
